This weekend was the annual Stag party for the Southern Ohio Dog and Game Protective Association. My father, my brother-in-law, my uncle, and myself are members of the association, so naturally we like to volunteer to help out. The Stag draws some 1800 men to festival offering all you can eat and all you can drink for 6 hours for the price of $45. Deep fried chicken, burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, lunch meat, fruit, vegetables, turtle soup, beer sausage, soda, and beer adorn the menu of choices. Horseshoes, cornhole, poker, blackjack, big six, raffles, and shooting the shit with the guys are the things to do. It is always a lot of fun, and I can't wait till next year.

Sunday I picked up the final Harry Potter book. I'm ashamed to say I'm only 8 chapters in so far, but I'm hoping to finish it by next week.

You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow, Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

"Miles:Why do I always fall for the girls that are wrong for me?
Iris: Actually, I know the answer to this. Because you're hoping you're wrong. And every time she does something that tells you she's no good, you ignore it. And every time she comes through and surprises you, she wins you over, and you lose that argument with yourself, that she's not for you.
Miles: Exactly, and on top of that there's the old standby, I can't believe a girl like that would actually be with a guy like me."

So some of you already know, but today was my last day with Pomeroy IT Solutions. A local busniess has offered me a Security Analyst position and more money than Pomeroy was paying.

The Pomeroy chapter in my life started in November of 2005 when I signed on for a 6 month contract at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. After the contract was over I ended being asked to stay on at the Columbus branch. And that's where I've worked until today. I be sorry to leave behind the people I worked with, but I am looking forward to start this new chapter in my life.

We sold 1516 glasses this year, a far cry from last years 1973 but it still isn't bad. The rain on Sunday evening is probably what did us in. I guess we can't have two years in a row with perfect weather. besides the festivals 14 year resident weather witch wasn't in the mood for the migraine and bathroom trips that would ensue by trying to fight it off.

Monday I went to the movies with Wayne and Brie. We saw Pirates of course, which kicked major ass! Afterwards I ended up at their place for one of Brie's exquisite home cooked meals.

I left their house late, and got a nice surprise on the ride home. My low beam heads lights went out 1 mile south of string town. After an hour long task of finding and testing all the headlight fuses, I still was without low beams. So I had to drive from Stringtown to Sawmill with my High Beams on. I've got an appointment tomorrow morning to have it looked at and fixed. I needed an oil change anyway.

Well it memorial day weekend, so that means I'm working the St Dominic's festival selling lemonade with the family. We sold over 500 glasses tonight, averaging about 100 per hour. Some fucktard also broke out Shantel's car window. They didn't steal anything, so that was cool. Ok, the bed is calling my name.

For those of you who don't know who this fucktard is, this is the moron who tries to scare game publishers with mindless and baseless scare tactics to change there mature rated games. His most recent fight is probably going to back fire worse than usual for him. I guess one can only hope for the best.

So Katy, Mraz and I hit up the newly remodeled Movie Tavern in Mill Run today to see Shrek III. For those who have been to Studio 35, its a much better design. For those of you who haven't, here is the run down. You buy your tickets per usual. 30 minutes before the show starts, they seat you. You walk into a theater that is layed out with full row tables and many individual executive office chairs. A server comes up and takes your order, and its a full service restaurant. They've got the usuals like popcorn and candy, but they also have burgers, salads, bottomless drink refills. When your food is ready, they bring it out. If you need anything, you hit a call button, and the server shows up. They drop your bills off 30 minutes before the movie ends. This redefines dinner and a movie. I would have to say this was the best movie going experience I've ever had. After the movie, we did run into [info] who looked extremely busy. He did take the time to say hi. Hope he gets to rest soon. As for Shrek III, it rocked. However, I am very biased when it comes to the Shrek films.

Afterwards, Katy and I headed over to Trevin's to deliver his birthday present. I resotred a IBM 390E laptop and got him a wireless router.

Currently we are sitting in food como mode, helping Trevin beat Spiderman 3 on the PS2.

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, more traditional than rebel, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more idealist than cynical, more follower than leader, and more introverted than extroverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are romantic (71%), innovative (71%), horny (58%).

Stereotypes
Punk Rock93%
Young Professional90%
White Trash55%

Life Experience
Sex27%
Substances16%
Travel18%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Libertarian, whom you agree with around 64% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Lower Middle Class. You make more than 83% of those who have taken this test, and 14% less than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated PG-13.
By the way, your hottness rank is 52%, hotter than 23% of other test takers.
